Congrats to those who are offered admission and planning to attend your their respective grad schools this fall!
I'm just curious if any of you still have got universities that haven't got back to you? U of Oklahoma and U of Western Ontario still haven't reply me; could it be due to their mismanagement that they forgot to reply? It's weird.
I still haven't heard anything from Louisiana State, Oklahoma State, or Texas A&M. Texas A&M did tell me a couple weeks ago they were still making offers and would do so up until May 31st. As for OU I received a rejection from them back in early March.

Does anyone think that if you did not hear an update by now if it is a rejection, still in review or waitlist?
I was accepted yesterday to the University of Houston but as a non-thesis MS. I'm torn because it's a great school for oil/gas but I've also been accepted elsewhere as thesis MS and TA position for two years..

Has anyone heard anything from New Mexico Tech?
Yes, I was officially accepted on 7Mar with a TA position and I had gone to their recruitment weekend. They said everyone had until April 1st to accept or decline.
Going back to school at 36 but worried I'm getting too old

Hi Steven,
Plain and simple, just do it. You'll only regret not doing it and the longer you wait the harder it will get. I am 35 and I'll be starting a masters in geology this fall. Many schools appreciate older students because we are viewed as being reliable, consistent, experienced, and hard working. I was offered a TA position and was told that my years of work experience played a role in them offering me the position.
Hope everything works out for you.
