Not really! Altogether the SFP (Strategic Fellowship Program) will give you $55000/- per annum. But may be yes for the IFP one, again depends on the company you are attaching with.

I received NSERC IRDF just last Friday and , but I think I'll go for MITACS as my understanding is with MITACS I shall be able to work with a lot less pressure and more independently.

Just now I received the email confirmation from MITACS stating that my application was selected for funding. The email was sent at 5:57 PM today, March the 31st. Good luck guys and thanks for this thread.
