  1. Hey guys! I'm an undergraduate senior majoring in statistical science at Duke, and I'm planning on applying to the east asian masters programs at Berkeley, Princeton, Harvard, and UCLA next year (going to prep for the GRE and figure out what I want to do). The thing is, my undergraduate GPA is a low 3.1, and I'm extremely worried that I'm just going to flat out get rejected. Do you think it's pretty much game over for me to pursue my masters at these graduate programs, especially since I have no publications and barely any research experience? I've heard that masters programs typically have a lower bar as financial aid is a bit tight for academia, but financial aid isn't much of an issue for me. Would be much appreciated if someone could fill me in with some realistic insight. Thanks for reading.
