Bananas, I went to the University of Washington School of Social Work years ago. I not only highly recommend the UW, but Social Work itself. Social Work prepares you not only for counseling (80% of psychotherapists in this country are MSWs), directing organizations and working in international humanitarian work. What I love about an MSW is the breadth of what it prepares you to do. After 20 years as a psychotherapist, I worked internationally, then founded NGOabroad: International Volunteering & Careers.
