Last post from me: SSHRC Vanier has made its decisions and has notified university awards offices. U of T awards office e-mailed the results to my department, which called me with the news (application was successful!). They just put individual letters (acceptance and rejection) in snail mail today, so everyone should get them next week. But if you can't wait anymore, I'd contact your university. So has anyone heard from Vanier SSHRC yet? I just received this e-mail from the awards office at U of T: Hello Ryan, I just spoke with SSHRC and they are slightly delayed on sending out some of the results; they expect to send them all by today or tomorrow. It's a bit cryptic, but it seems some or all of our letters have not even been mailed yet.

Still nothing on SSHRC in Toronto. I think this delay is inexcusable and plan to make that clear to the administrators of the program. They have had our applications for months. If nothing else, I think everyone would prefer to receive an electronic notification in advance of the postponed letters.

I understand your frustration completely. I am in the SSHRC division, living in Toronto, and still have not received my letter. I guess we wait until Monday now. Nobody at U of T seems to know anything. The awards office told me (by e-mail): "all letters will be sent to students by the end of the week." I take that to mean some may have gone in the mail just today---likely SSHRC, since we in the humanities do not excell at promptness or efficiency. So it may be a little while still. Hang in there and good luck!

Well, mail should be arriving in Eastern Canada and Ontario...anyone getting letters today? (I'm on campus all day and won't know until I get home if the letter arrives.)

Nothing yet on the Vanier (I'm a SSHRC nominee in Toronto).
