I don't think that situation possible... at least in the EPOS scholarship which is the one I know, that situation is not posiible because you have to apply to the university directly.

I applied for Study Scholarship for Graduates of All Disciplines, and for us, the application to the university is a different thing from the scholarship itself.

  2. Anyone here with the following situation?

I got excluded from the programmes which I chose when I applied for the DAAD scholarship. What if I get the scholarship anyway? Can I apply for another programme?

I saw some students get acceptance. And i heard they were sending acceptance till 4 april

I think it depends on the country you applied from. You can see on an another forum that there were some candidates who received the "Funding" status and the email in May or at the end of April.

Dead silence for Graduate Scholarships for All Academic Disciplines. When I contacted regional DAAD coordinator (in Uzbekistan) he claimed that the results will be announced in the end of March. It's April 3rd today. Some of friends got "selection made" from "preselection made". In my profile, nothing has changed after I took the interview. I felt quite confident during the interview, tho.

Checking the portal every hour. However, I think they will first email, rather than  change status. It may not be true, tho

Exactly the same situation for me. Good luck, hope we get it!

Oh, it's so painful to hear it! But I do adore your motivation to make your dreams come true, even without scholarship! Let all your intentions come into reality!

I also still did not get any updates yet. I still have a "preselection made" status while a dozen of my friends' statuses changed to "selection made". I am worried a lot too, since I cannot make it a reality without scholarship. I mean, I can, but it's too hard for a citizen of the 3rd world country.

    Wish me luck, guys!

Mine is still Preselection made too, and I’m really afraid it means rejection that it didn’t change to selection made. But I hope it doesn’t mean anything, so don’t lose hope. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I was meaning that if the status of others in portal is changing to Selection made, most probably students with preselection made get rejection. They had a lot of debates on this, in this forum, you can look previous years.

And when was preselection made changed into selection made for others?

From my experience, candidates with preselection made get the straight rejection. Especially in Uzbekistan. Unfortunately, DAAD sends first approval of funding and then rejection, which is quite strange.

Really? How do you know that? Doesn’t it depend on whether you have to attend an interview in that country or not?

Not trying to sound rude, but I like how people just throw info here and then disappear all of the sudden.

I'm writing this info on the basis of last year's procedure, and they told me at the interview that the meeting will happen in the beginning of March.

  9. Hello everyone! So as far as I know the selection meeting happened last Friday, so I guess an obsessive email and daad portal checking starts right now. Is it possible that we get the final results this week? Good luck for everyone

  10. Hello everyone! I have been following the conversation since it started, but I haven't written anything yet. Did anyone here also apply for Study Scholarship for Graduates of All Disciplines? And if yes, does anyone know when to expect final results? Thanks indeed, and congrats @Isaramirezca!
