Congrats to everyone who got their UofT acceptances so far!! I'm feeling really anxious. I'm wondering if there's anyone else here that's applied to UofT Advanced Standing MH&H stream and still hasn't heard back yet? I'm just wondering if all the "invites" for the MH&H stream have gone out already or if they're being released on a rolling basis?

I cannot stand this waiting. It's killing me. My life is in limbo right now and this decision would affect where I move. If someone contacts Angela, please post what she says!

Getting so inpatient waiting to hear back from UofT. Everyday I keep telling myself that it'll be tomorrow.

It's crazy that the first round of acceptances went out April 4th, that gives students less than 3 months to prepare for the program. Some people really have to uproot their lives including moving cities, finding housing, applying for OSAP/assistance/funding, getting textbooks, terminating their current employment, perhaps finding a new job, finding child care etc. I really think Lakehead needs to change their procedures in order to give students more notice.

Hi Kristine! I was in the 2018/2019 cohort for the Lakehead HBSW program, and I got my acceptance letter on March 28th, 2018. So hopefully you will hear back around the same time!

I agree, I hate the waiting game! Hopefully the next month will fly by and we'll find out sooner rather than later!

Is it your first time applying? Last year, I heard back from them around February 20th I believe. So hopefully it will be around the same time this year!

I'm SO ANXIOUS waiting to hear back from UofT. I put all my eggs in one basket and only applied to UofT's Advanced Standing MSW for the Mental Health & Health stream. I applied last year and got waitlisted, so I'm really anxious about this year! I know we still have about a month longer of waiting, but hopefully we'll hear back sooner than later! Anyone else apply to UofT?

Hey! I'm in the same boat as you. I got wait-listed for the Advanced Standing MSW at UofT, specifically for the Mental Health and Health Stream. I'm wondering if you know exactly how the wait-list works?

Congrats on getting in! Unfortunately, I got waitlisted for the Advanced Standing MSW for the Mental Health and Health Stream. I'm curious, if you also get accepted into Laurier, would you choose UofT or Laurier? I'm just trying to gauge the chance that I might get called from the waitlist.

I was also waitlisted for the Advanced Standing MSW at UofT. I applied for the Mental Health & Health Stream. I'm wondering if anyone knows how the waitlist actually works? It says we have send back a letter saying we want to stay on the waitlist?

I'm just wondering, how do you know you did not get invited from UofT? I also did not get an offer today, but is today the only day that they put out offers?

Hi everyone! I'm sure everyone is as anxious as I am. If UofT decides to send out acceptances around the same time they did last year, then we should be hearing back from them within the next few days! I applied to the MSW Advanced Standing in Mental Health & Health for Sept. 2019. I'm currently in the one-year HBSW program at Lakehead University, and will be finished in June.
