I am accepted to a UC school and UC SHIP which is the student health plan does cover medical, vision, dental ad I can cover my dependents through the plan as well. My husband is accepted to a private university nearby and his student insurance will only cover medical for himself. No vision or dental and no dependents. So it can vary widely but I give the UC system HUGE props for their plan.

I was at Wal-Mart getting my kid a toy when the email hit my phone. I started crying right there in the toy isle so I fit in real well with the other crazy people of Wal-Mart.

Worry: I got "nominated for admission" by the department on Monday, but the graduate school has to approve and send my official letter. ? I want to be happy because I'm almost in but I have some SHITTY grades in my past and I don't want them to haunt me forever and take this chance away from me!!
