Please let me know if this isn't the right forum for this! I only got into my backup options. I still want to be a professor. Sigh. I guess I will actually choose a place that will make me happy (location + advisor fit) since I'll be attending it for the next 5-6 years. I do know that if I got into a top school I would've felt pressure to go there regardless of fit, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Anyone in a similar situation?
