Anyway don't worry about your dates or even your status changing, what matters I think is the email .. Hope you hear good news soon ! 

As I see, the status updates and official messages depend on your location. I have not got any letter on the Daad portal since the automatically generated letter after my submission, however, I got letters by email and my status was also updated to "preselection made".
