i know it's weird right? I've heard so much--like daily--from another school offering me forums and alums to speak with and everything. But silence from yds.
other grad programs are delaying their reply-by date from april 15 until may 1st, given everything that is going on. I wonder if these programs will, as well.

Have any admitted students heard from YDS since receiving their decisions? The letter said there would be panels and other information online, but it's been two weeks since decision went out and I haven't heard anything else from there since. I know that there's a lot going on and people are trying to deal with figuring out how to do everything online, but having gotten a lot more information from other schools I'm fretting about not having any more information from the school I'm most seriously considering attending before having to make a decision.

    Friends,

I wish you all the best. May you remember that your value is not determined by any acceptance or rejection. I accepted my admission into BC this morning. This forum has been a place of solidarity during this grueling process. See you all around the guild.

I just spoke with Dr. Streete. He said that they are confirming faculty members for the ESI PREP program, and some advisers have not gotten back with their availability yet. If those advisers do not have availabilities, they will have to revisit students' applications. He said this process may, and likely will, go on into next week. To clarify, no interviews have been conducted for ESI PREP. He also noted that interviews for ESI PREP are more of a formality, as at that point an adviser has already agreed to work with a particular student.
It sounds like they have made a nearly final list of who they would like in the program, but cannot finalize it until faculty members report back. Side note - Imagine getting removed from the finalist list because a faculty member doesn't have availability!

That seems to be the case, yeah. There might be slightly different timelines for NIH-PREP vs. ESI-PREP... if anybody posts decisions, please be specific about which of the two programs you applied to!
