If anyone is in need of an outside pair of eyes to look over a Personal Statement or practice interviews with (or just get general advice from!), I run a pro-bono consulting service for MD, PhD and MD/PhD admissions called Project SHORT (project-short.com)! Our goal is to combat the socioeconomic disadvantage that can be created by high consulting costs, and offer help to students who might not be able to access it otherwise (I personally went to a very small public university, and didn't know many graduate students when I first considered applying!).
