Indeed UCL is one of the best neuroscience centres in the world and has amazing PhD programs - but most of them only offer around 5 places per year- so the competition is intense. Yeah I completely agree - Oxbridge/UCL are insanely competitive and funding is much harder to come by as an international student. Not sure where they got that from. Worth a try though.

Did you get the email for JHU first thing this morning or did you just get it?? Trying to figure out if it was a large batch invitation or if they will be sending them out throughout the day. Thanks!
