Did you get accepted into the online programs there? I did and am experiencing the same frustration as you in that they won't provide the financial aid information without paying the non-refundable deposits. I feel like it's a bit sneaky and not very transparent of them in helping us to make the most responsible decision possible for our futures. I don't know, just venting I guess...
Very strange. There's no financial aid information in my admit letter (neither loans nor scholarships) so I'm not sure if they're still working on it or I just didn't receive anything.
Also, you mention government work. Is this a difficult area to enter out of an MSW? I am hoping to go the VA route.
Saw that you got a scholarship to Denver!! Did they already have the financial aid information in the portal or did you have to reach out to them? Nothing is showing for me so I'm just a whole lot of confused at the moment.
Congrats on all the acceptances so far! I received my acceptance letter from CU last week as well as my financial aid award this week. Sending supportive vibes to everyone!!
When I called CU in December to confirm my application was received, they already knew who I was as they picked up. I asked how they knew, and with caller ID they had looked up my name/application at that moment. I'm wondering if they're giving different responses based on application status. I'm worried to call back for this reason. Anyone else have a similar experience?
New to the forum but so appreciate everyone's honesty and input! Good to see that I'm in good anxiety graces with you all. At least it's only a few more days/weeks of uncertainty!!
Would anyone have insight into the online acceptance rates for CU, USC, and UDenver?? Haven't found any notable differences between online vs. traditional in Google searches, so was hoping crowd-sourcing would be more helpful.
TIA!!
