Is anyone else becoming wary of accepting the fellowship if offered after this debacle? Don't get me wrong–I'd be honored to win, but I'd be hesitant to accept.

Oh haha no worries! MIT is the chemistry program and they aren't making us win fellowships to attend, thankfully!

Why would you claim to know when my application has been updated?

I'm between two programs: one in chemical engineering and one in chemistry. I won NSF-GRFP last week, but those funds can only be used towards the chemistry program. I need to know about NDSEG to figure out if the chemical engineering program is even an option.

Thank you for emailing! Unfortunately the date they picked is supremely unhelpful for those of us who must pick a grad school by the 15th. I'm sure I'm not the only one whose decision depends on getting this fellowship.
