I wonder how long after an interview should I email the school and ask for update? I've been waiting to hear back from a school for more than 2 weeks...

Was that for Management only, or for other departments as well?

Wander if anyone heard from USC for Quant Marketing? My status is still just "complete". By the way, I think 3 is a bit low for the number of schools. Do you have a location constraint by any chance?

I hope you would get a good result soon, but in case that doesn't happen and you don't want to get a permanent job, a pre-doc fellowship or a full time RA won't be a bad idea.

Don't know what field you applied for, but for Quant Marketing, I believe a GMAT below 700-720, or GRE Q < 168/169 would be a desk-reject at most top 30 schools.

I'm not sure about OB, but I know that GeorgiaTech would have an on-campus fly-out stage after the interview for Marketing, at some time this month. Maybe the decision would be about fly-out invites?

It seems that Columbia already sent out interview invites for Quant Marketing? Can anyone confirm this so I can make up my mind ?. Columbia is the only one I'm waiting for at the moment.

I updated all of those to the result section. Some schools reached out to me and asked whether I'm committed to going there before making the decision as well. Didn't know they would do that?

I applied to 13 and heard back from 5 so far. Looking back I think it's too many, and may be 7-8 would be the best number.

UT Dallas emailed me for interviews a few days ago, so I think even the same department doesn't send out invites at the same time. I guess for UTD it's up to the professors to pick a time they are free.

I wonder if schools send out invitations at the same time or dependent on faculty. It seems that interview invites are out at UT Dallas, and I'm quite sad right now that I didn't get one. I thought my profile would be decent enough for UTD.
