So sorry! This process can be so very confusing - an emotional roller coaster!

I just officially withdrew my application today. So, if I happened to be ahead of anyone in the waitlist, hopefully this bumps you up a bit! I paid my deposit for Drew, so that's where I'm headed this fall. Hope things work out for all of you!

Just got a rejection email from BUSTH. Drew it is for me! Still disappointed though. But trying not to be greedy, since I get to go where I wanted to from the start.

Nothing here from BUSTH. I keep checking the portal!

Waitlisted too - looking at Animal Ethics with Willis Jenkins. Not my top choice school though. Just not the best fit for me I think.

Sorry to hear, @duckie0817. Congrats @Dewey! Very encouraging to hear about someone that persisted after rejections and got in the next year. Did you do something differently this year in your application process? Or focus on some area of improvement? I'm still waiting for results, but thinking ahead to what I will do if this year isn't it for me.

I'm bummed that we may have to wait that long, but really glad to have some info - thanks for sharing!

I really hope we hear today! The waiting is awful. But @soitgoes has good "anxiety logic" (ha!) too unfortunately!

I did a Zoom interview with BUSTH last week too, but no timeframe given.

Oh my goodness, I am trying not to obsessively check my email and school status portals, but it is so hard! I just want to know, good news or bad! I am getting so impatient!

The waiting is soooo hard. Everyday I think this will be the day I hear, and then nothing!

I guess I wouldn't say that's certain. Maybe looking more likely, but until they actually send you a rejection notice, you never know what sequence of events might lead to an offer. I feel like I remember from looking at results online for UVA historically that people were posting acceptances pretty late in the season, like even in late March. So until I got a letter, I wouldn't totally count it out.

I have my interview for Boston University tomorrow over Zoom. Anyone been through an interview before? What's it like? I've seen some of the generic questions on other threads - any theological/religion specific insights folks can share?

I haven't heard anything from them either. But hoping for at least a wait-list!

At least from what folks posted last year, it seemed to be via email in mid February.

From what I can see, UVA doesn't typically interview, just emails, and that maybe next week or so is usual time, and that they have wait lists too. Boston seemed to have a less clear pattern. Hope process goes well for you. I think Drew (my MDiv alma mater) is my first choice but I know they accept only about 2 students in the division (Religion and Society) out of about 18 applicants, so I'm very anxious about my chances.

I got an email invite to a Skype interview for BUSTH today (Theology, Ethics, and Philosophy track). I'm excited but super nervous. I don't feel like interviews are my strength, but we'll see. Also applied to UVA and Drew, but nothing from them yet. I'm so thankful to have found this forum!
