  1. Hi, I've been admitted into the International Public Policy and Management Program of the Public Policy Department at University of Southern California and into the Master in International Public Affairs Program at University of California, San Diego. I would like to transfer my skills to work in public sector and also private sector too. I think in being recruited in the private sector like in consulting firms, university's reputation is quite a big factor. I think USC is in a better position. However, the program at UCSD is quite more interesting and probably useful. So, now I can't decide yet. If anyone can provide me with insights into both of the programs/universities or perceptions/recognitions of the two programs/universities/connections comparatively, that will be much help and be appreciated. Also, do you think good program or good name plays more role in getting a good job in the U.N. agencies and consulting firms? I'm an international student from Asia.
