woeisme

I am a medievalist and have been offered a place to study English at Fordham. Since I am not from the States, I want to know if their medieval program is good? I have also got another offer from a higher ranked school (University of Washington), but their medieval program doesn't seem to be quite reputable (or is it just me?)...My struggle is really about ranking vs. fit. Can anyone please share their insight? Thank you so much!
