thanks for the information @plsgivemeanoffer and @carolbells. If you don't mind me asking, was your decision to pass more so because you received admission from a more reputable program or was it driven by issues you saw in the NYU curriculum/program/costs?

@carolbells are you thinking of going to upenn? Good news that you're waiting on Stanford still. I got rejected a couple weeks ago (at least from the MS Stats DS program)

for those of you who have gotten into NYU MSDS, is there a date that you have to commit by? Wondering when the most movement will happen for those that were wait listed. thanks

@doingthingshere yes I believe so... You basically record your answers using a webcam.
