Has anyone else on here heard from Ryerson? Anyone for McGill either?
Have you received any updates? I was waitlisted at for Ryerson’s MSW program but was accepted into McGill’s MSW program for Fall 2020! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the program and updates on how everything is going!

I was wondering if anyone had any insights about McGill’s MSW program. My apologies for multiple posts, I’m so used to reading these posts but not actually posting

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone here is planning to apply to McGill MSW for Fall 2020? I haven't seen much mention of people applying there in past forums and am just curious if anyone else is interested/has applied there before!
Hi! I actually asked the same question not too long ago. I was accepted into McGill’s MSW program for Fall 2020! I feel like I’ve only heard about the program here and there because it’s also out of the province but it seems like a really great program. I had a professor who went there for their MSW and said it was a good school and program. Feel free to ask me any other questions I’d love to talk more!

Hey there!
Congratulations for those who have heard back and gotten accepted! It’s a fairly stressful process and it’s my second round of applying for my Master’s. I completed one degree from York and I’m now completing my HBSW. I applied and got accepted into the advanced standing MSW program at McGill for Fall 2020. I’m wondering what’s everyone’s thoughts on McGill as a university and if anyone has any insights about the program? Anything helps, thanks! Feel free to ask me any questions

Hi there! I’ve recently accepted my offer to McGill for the Fall 2020. I have a few friends who will be attending UofT in the Fall. I think both schools are able to provide Great opportunities and exceptional education. However, I definitely think it factors in what stream you’re in and which program you believe is best for you. From what I’ve heard, UofT is very research and clinical based whereas McGill (from a professor who went there), said she had an amazing experience and you had opportunities for research and exposure to other areas without solely being a clinical or research based program. Overall, I think both programs and schools are great and it really depends on where you’d like to go or what you think you’ll enjoy more! If you have any updates as well I’d love to hear from you and chat more!
