Agree wholeheartedly about the state of Canadian research...I'm now shifting gears to a career outside academia where there still may be opportunities ? Also, for reference: the waitlist was quite long last year. I was waitlisted with a rank of 16/31 in Committee 169, and only the top 8 were awarded outright.

I didn't get an award either. No ranking yet; will be interested to see how I did. Congrats to all who received an award!

I contacted NSERC and they said the PDF results will be announced via email at the end of January. So maybe next week? Good luck to you all!

I'll be re-applying this fall and hoping for better results ?

I'm waitlisted in committee 169. When I emailed NSERC for more info, they said that waitlist results will start to be sent out in April. If anyone gets off the waitlist, could you please post that here? Good luck to all other waitlisted peeps!
