  1. I've received all my admission results for the biostats programs I applied to for Fall '21. I'm trying to decide between Georgetown's MS in Biostats program and Boston University's MS in Applied Biostats program. Is anyone familiar with these programs? Which one has better job prospects? Better overall experience? I would appreciate any input/information about these programs. Thanks!
  2. Hi everyone, I will be a senior this fall and will be applying for Fall 2021 Biostats MS programs. I would appreciate it if you guys could recommend some programs I would most likely be able to get in. Undergrad Institution: UTA Major(s): Biology Minor(s): Mathematics, biochemistry GPA: 3.8 Type of Student: Domestic / Girl (I'm Asian and moved from Scandinavia a couple of years ago.) GRE General Test: Will take it in Aug but will probably do average. Research Experience: 3 years of esophageal cancer research. 1 semester of research in antibiotic resistance. Awards/Honors/Recognitions: Dean's list, honor's college degree, several scholarships Letters of Recommendation: My cancer research prof, my biostats prof and my ochem prof. Math/Statistics Grades: Calc I (B) , Calc II (A), Calc III (A), Biostats (A), Diff equation/linear algebra (A), Intro linear algebra/vector spaces (A), Statistical inference (A). Programming languages:Python, SAS, R-programming. Other: Wrote honors senior thesis on FLASH radiation therapy and presented at my honors research symposium. I also presented my research at a STEM diversity research symposium. I was also a bio TA.
