Hi everyone, I am sure you’ve seen this type of post a lot, but here I am since I couldn’t find clear answers to my question.
So I am a rising junior at a research focused university who just transferred from a community college.
My current major is Stats, but I might change it to computational math, depends on what classes I’ll have more fun with.
Since I couldn’t get into my dream school this time, I really want to work hard and get MS degree at top grad schools.
So my question is, which factor is most important to get into MS Stats or DS? (Not PhD)
GPA, GRE, Letters of Rec, Research Experience, Work Experience, and Statement of Purpose. (if you could rank them)
I already went on schools’ websites to have idea and I know it varies depending on which school I apply to. But I want to hear general opinions from you so that I can plan ahead my last 2 years at undergraduate. Thanks for reading this!!
