I'm noticing companies that aren't in my top 3 "responding" to my application. If my portal says released, does this mean rejection from these companies (not in the top 3)? Does it mean the end of the application process? I'm asking because I got email confirmation that wasn't official back in September from one of the National labs, but haven't heard back yet.
Thanks!

So... has anyone ever been released, but also got a notification on the website saying "Congratulations <company> have responded to your application".
I'm wondering if they just made a mistake with viewing my application and released it instantly lol...
;~;
So mine currently says matched, but I saw the message. The thing is, the company responding to the application isn't one I listed in the 3 employers.
Any clarification would be appreciated

I just noticed the eye icon is back as well. I am matched with another one of my employer top three.
I also noticed this yesterday where the eye icon returned with a different employer matched-checked again today and saw the eye icon missing. Guess it might be an on/off kind of thing.

Thank you very much for clarifying!

Hi everyone,
Second time GEM applicant. I'm wondering, if matched, how long is the process before "acceptance" if selected? I'm assuming mentioning things in a stament of purpose like, "working at x during the summer before beginning a graduate degree" would be a no-no without a guarantee or acceptance from the sponsor.
Wishing everyone continued success and all the best

Hi everyone,
Curious if anyone has gotten an email from Intel- seems that they're reaching out real early
GEM Fellowship 2021

I want to clarify, if a GEM Fellowship is provided for a PhD, is the stipend subtracted from the tuition for that quarter/semester? Or if the school is already providing a stipend/tuition waiver, the GEM stipend is separate and added to that?
Thanks for all you do
