I do not know for sure however I would say that 1. It happened early enough in your undergrad career that you had time to showcase your true ability 2. It is great that you have a dean who is supporting you. If you’re letters of recommendation are strong I’d say that would be likely to consider you. However during an interview they would likely ask you but it seems as though you are willing to be candid and take responsibility. I say you have a good shot!

I had a interview today for a MFT program. I was truly expecting an abundance of questions to be asked but I was only asked 3 questions. I was concise with my answers but am now worried knowing I had so much more time available to expand on my answers (the interview was scheduled for 30 minutes). After the rest of the time was me asking questions (which I tried to make them meaningful). Should I be worried? Is this normal? Is there no way to tell until I got the final decision?

Thank you! I think I’ve seen so many examples that I started to over think. I drafted up an email that expresses my thanks and aspects of our conversation that were salient. Overall it’s 3 sentences and very brief. Thank you for your response as it truly got me out of my anxious spell!

I had an interview today so tomorrow I need to send thank you emails to my interviewers. Do I reiterate my qualifications for the program? Or do I just thank them for their time and discuss topics we discussed that were key to the interview? Please help
