You sound like a great candidate, I wouldn't worry too much about the 1.5 space - I doubt it will weigh on the decision at all. I'm also considering applying to Chatham late, haven't decided yet. I applied to Syracuse, UVM, & UC Davis. So far only heard from Syracuse (got in). I have been out of school for a while & I have a lot of experience in food systems work but a shitty undergrad performance so I also feel like NYU is a toss up for me. Definitely more applicants than usual this year from what I've heard. Best of luck to you too, keep me posted!
