I've officially committed to Yale for Musicology! So excited to move out to the east coast. Congrats to everyone and good luck to those still making decisions!

as april 15th approaches...has anyone committed anywhere yet? we've gotta celebrate after all these months of waiting!

Can guarantee a spot at either Eastman or UNC will be freed up as I'm currently deciding between those two (and one other). Not sure if that helps but I hope it provides a little bit of solace!

looks like quite a few brown rejections went out on tuesday (including my own ?) - haven't seen any acceptances/waitlists though, so could be a good sign for you? who knows!

could i ask which schools you've heard back from? happy to DM if you're more comfortable!

Been a rough week, hasn't it? I was rejected at Harvard and Brown (on the same day ?) but thankfully have two other great options. Still waiting on a couple more schools. How is everyone else doing?

received a somewhat cryptic message from u of toronto (musicology) saying my application was still under consideration but that they had to figure out how many students they could take - anyone else?

hi folks - does the harvard musicology acceptance happen to be anyone on here? curious if it came from an individual prof or whether it was in the portal!

It was an unofficial email from a POI, they said the official decision would come out a bit later!

so far have heard from michigan and toronto re: interviews. no word from the others yet. have applied to harvard, brown, nyu, eastman, michigan, toronto. how about you?

Any other musicologists here? If so, where have you started receiving correspondence from?
