I have gotten two interviews after receiving the waitlist email. It's almost May 7...

Curious to know if anyone who got the waitlist email from Poetic Justice has been interviewed after filling out the open call form yet.

Ash116, no rejection letter at this point might be a good thing. It implies that your group have not made a decision yet and that you were not eliminated as a choice. The group I applied to (Poetic Justice) has not made their decision yet it seems, but they have sent out a waitlist email to the candidates they are looking at.

All of my hits were from all over the world as well.

Anyone's portfolio getting hits from appen.io? I got a bunch of hits from that domain in the past two days, and also another wave about a week ago. I am trying to gauge which group might be using that tool to review portfolios by cross referencing with others who has gotten hits from the same domain.

No interviews before receiving the waitlist email. I applied for PhD, shouldn't matter too much though since everyone goes through the Master program first.

Is getting waitlisted a common thing? Like they're just telling everyone they are waitlisted, or does a selected group of people get waitlisted? I just received my waitlist email today at 1 in the afternoon, content below. Got 1 portfolio visit yesterday for 32s. I applied for future sketches, viral communications, and poetic justice. I am guessing that hit was from future sketches since zjc664656505's portfolio was visited yesterday also. I also emailed viral communications group's administrative assistant inquiring about where in the reviewing process they are in, she emailed back yesterday saying while she is not involved in that progress, it is still early in the usual timeframe.
