Yeah, I already did this awhile ago when I first applied in December. There hasn't been any updates on it and each time I reach out it's the same response "late March".

For my USC people, how did you find out your decisions? I applied to the MA Specialized Journalism program and have yet to receive anything—no updates, no changes—just a statement that my application is completed and has been submitted. I tried emailing them, but received only automated messages back that "decisions come out in late March" when I know that isn't complete true. I'm just so lost...

I got into the M.S. program, but I don't think I'm going to go. The financial aid offered at CUNY and Northwestern were much better and I wouldn't have to take out $100,000 in loans to cover schooling. It's disappointing, but I really don't want to be crippled by debt before I even start my career.

No I didn't see it in my admissions portal, I just received it as a seperate email. I would email for clarification if you don't hear back soon. Hopefully you got some aid!

I also need some assistance with deciding as well and were hoping to hear some thoughts. I won a full ride to CUNY, but I also love Medill (M.S in Politics, Policy and Foreign Affairs specialization). I received a 20,000 scholarship from them, but I'd still have to take loans out. I kinda feel at crossroads.

Yeah, I did yesterday about a couple hours after I found out about my acceptance. It's in an email and they break it up for you. Like mine said I won 15,000 in scholarship and qualified for 20,000 in federal loans, so in total it said 35,000 would cover that cost. It also sent a link to Columbia's student financial aid account. I don't know how the process is that their emailing with, but this is all I know at least

That’s what I’m assuming. They have yet to update the orientation stuff on the website plus it’s about 5 in NYC.

I just got a full ride to CUNY. This is crazy. I thought we would hear back from them later on this week. I still need a decision from USC and Columbia though. Do you think maybe the grad students/workers protesting is delaying the results?

That makes sense. I know CUNY and Medill already have their class overviews out when they haven’t alerted all of their potential students on their decisions

Do you think they’re actually going to tell us today or later this week? Every notification I get from my email my heart just jumps thinking it’s a decision
