So I am hoping to start my MPP in the Fall, and I am ready to send out all of my applications. I was wondering how others felt about shortcomings in there resumes. I have looked into a lot of schools, and most recommend some type of work experience for admissions. As I have just finished my undergrad I have not had the chance to rack up any time in the professional world. I was active during my fours years of undergrad doing volunteer stuff, but never worked in a policy related field. What is your take on my situation. Will my respectable GRE and ugpa coupled with a good SOP make up for my lack of experience?
