What are your thoughts on Northwestern and UNC for IR?

Hi, I'll be going to UNC this Fall and am in the process of looking for an apt. I hope to move in by June or July. I would love to live in downtown chapel hill but I am aware it is pretty expensive and probably out of my budget range. I am also interested in Carrboro. Can anyone recommend any apts in apt complexes either in Chapel Hill or Carrboro that are close to the bus line (j in particular) and do not exceed 700 a month? Thank you!

The people who were rejected from Harvard did you just receive letters via postal service or was an email also sent to you? I haven't received either and am wondering what to do...

It is still ridiculous how UNC expects us to live off that small of a stipend and pay student fees from it.

Can the person who got into UNC tell us if you got a call from any of the professors regarding your admittance.

Hey I applied under the social sciences-- political science. Does anyone know how we will find out if we have won the award?

Does anyone know when and how we find out if we have received the NSF for graduate school? Also, do they inform our prospective schools if we have won the award? Thanks
