Hello!
I have been racking my brain for weeks trying to figure out what grad degree is right for the situation I currently am in.
Undergrad: B.S Management Information Systems
GPA: 2.88 (working full time while taking 5 classes a semester)
Location: Chicago
Job Title: Manager Information Technology (top 4 biotech company)
Current Salary: 150k
Work will cover 35k over the life of MBA.
Experience: 9 Years
References: CIO and Sr Dr Manufacturing.
Id like to remain technical but also gain a degree of value in my current role. Here are some programs that I am looking at:
MCIT at U Penn
iMBA at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign
MIT at Virginia Tech
Are MBA’s worth it if not at a top school? Would MCIT be good for remaining technical and checking off the grad box on resumes? I’m trying to boost my Resume and truly remain technical.

2.8 GPA here.
Just got accepted into grad school at Northwestern. Surprised and proud and excited to get after it in 2022.
