Congratulations! I am in a MSW applicant group on Facebook and we have had quite a few SDSU Advance standing acceptances. They must of started early as April was the given time frame.

Congratulations to those of you who were accepted into the advanced standing program! I applied to the two year full time at both SDSU and CSUSM and have not heard back. I was admitted to SJSU last week and Columbia University in mid January. I have an interview with CSUN coming up. I know the wait is brutal, hang in there~☺️

I applied to Columbia online program by the priority deadline and received my acceptance on 1/7/22. Good luck to everyone. I am still waiting on the CSU schools that I applied to (I’m in California).

Honestly I don’t think GPA carries that much weight. I think they take everything into consideration with additional emphasis on experience and your essay. With that said, you’re right, it’s an extremely competitive program, especially considering the low cost. You’re GPA is excellent, wishing you good luck! Did you apply to any other programs? I recently received my letter of acceptance from Columbia but still waiting for the CSU schools that I applied to. Not expecting to hear back until early spring ?.

Hello! I applied for the fall 2022 MSW. My CSUSM gpa is 3.98 and my overall GPA is 3.89. I’m a sociology major and I had approx 750 hours of volunteer experience.
