Guys ESOP results would not have anything to do with enrollments right?
I got admits but I am still waiting on for the ESOP results before I enroll. Since there is no news it got me thinking. Would we have to enroll first to be considered for/given ESOP? My logic says no but got me slightly worried. -

Only heard that we might expect the answers in the second half of the month... 3-4 weeks of anxiety remain then ? I've noticedm though, that rejection mails seem to come before admission ones. There's a rare chance of being waitlisted.
I received an admission letter to Biotechnology last week. But I will wait for the result of my other applications before moving on.

Hey guys, I did not go on this forum for quite a while. But just to serve as a point of reference: I had an ESOP interview invite on first week of Feb and I had my interview this week.
Of course, nothing is certain yet and fingers are crossed. Best of luck again to all of you!

None for me either, applied to D-HEST. There was a new rector taking up post by Feb 1, maybe many departments waited out the whole change process before sitting down to decide on admissions for next year. Hopefully we will start getting news soon

You are right, I guess I just spent so many hours on secondary sources about ETH scholarships and there it is always mentioned as ESOP/ETH-D, so I guess I just remembered that was the case with application too. Apparently not, it does only say ESOP. Things just got harder : ) best of luck to everyone.

That is a huge bummer actually.. Considering only like 0.5% of applicants get ESOP and ETH-D was the more accessible one. In my application it did mention the application is for both ESOP and ETH-D as far as I remember, so it is sad they are not actually doing ETH-D, if what you are saying is correct ?
I know about the whole EU-Switzerland problem resulting in departure of Swiss institutions from access to EU funds, but you would still expect ETH to have a strong enough budget to give some partial work-based scholarships like ETH-D like most top institutions -

Hey everyone! Congrats to those who got admitted.
I have applied for 2022, and based on the feedback here, I wanted to know how they contact for ESOP interviews. Was it via e-mail? Or by phone (hope not, as I suspect mine can get international calls)
