How long did it take UMass to get back to you? Nervously awaiting their follow up post interview

How long does it take to hear back from schools after the initial interview? I have interviewed with four so far and only heard back from one!

Did anyone else hear back from UMiami then never get a follow up email? I’ve tried to contact them several times since they offered me the interview but they have never gotten back to me with a date.

Received interview invites from University of Miami and UConn today!

I am trying not to be too pessimistic this early but it is brutal seeing that UMass and UF have sent out interview invites and I didn’t get one. Hopefully better luck with some other schools

Hi y’all! I am going to be applying to biomedical sciences programs this year. I graduated undergrad with a 3.8 GPA and have spent the last 16 months working in a lab at a research hospital. I am coauthor of five publications (no first authors, mostly between third and fifth), and have presented two posters at conferences. I’m going to be applying to: University of Florida, University of Miami, University of Central Florida, UMass, UConn, Tufts, and Boston University this is my second application cycle, and I’m excited to see how it goes! After officially giving up all hope, I just got an interview to Temple!

I also think at this point I probably have been silently rejected from everywhere. Good luck to everyone who has interviews, maybe I’ll try again next year!

Just wondering - If anyone in this group is applying for the second time, have you had more success with programs? And if so, how much time lapsed between your applications?

Is it worth sending an updated CV to school’s I haven’t heard from? Or should I just accept this as a silent rejection and wait until next year. I have three-four papers I’ll be listed as an author in but not a first

Hm that’s a good point I haven’t heard of anyone receiving a rejection from them. That makes me way less hopeful ?

Has anyone applied / heard back from Temple?

I sent out a few emails today and Dartmouth confirmed that they will not be sending out any more interview invitations (at least to students in the US). UMass Chan did say that they would be sending more invitations in the next few weeks!

I saw that Temple is still accepting applications, does anyone know of any other schools that are still accepting apps?

Hi all! I am kinda late to this forum but I have been reading through and am starting to feel like I may have been silently rejected from all of the schools I applied to. I applied to UMass Chan, UConn, Boston University PiBS, and Dartmouth MCB. - haven't heard back from any. I don't have a masters degree but I just graduated with my BS and a 3.7 GPA and I now work at a research hospital. Would people recommend trying to get a Masters degree before applying to programs again? ?
