I just got my first ever acceptance!!! I got into UBCO's Foundational MSW.
This is my 3rd cycle - first time applying to Social Work.
I am over the moon - I balled my eyes out at work this morning when I got the news.
I am waiting on a couple more schools before I officially decide but I have accepted my offer.

Hey! I am applying for the first time to MSW's this year. I had previously applied strictly to MEd's or MA's in Counselling Psych, but I find that social work aligns more with my goals. I am super nervous about applying to MSW as the statements are very different, and I am worried about writing a research proposal for Social Work.
I am applying to UBCO and U Calgary's foundational streams!

Hey everyone! I decided to apply to some MEd in counselling psychology programs after being brutally rejected from clinical last year.
What does everyone do for funding during these? Just students loans? Or does the CGS-M cover these?

I contacted my PI's, so I just wanted to give out some info that they gave me!
Windsor PI says that they will start reviewing applications and scheduling interviews in the "near future", which interviews typically being around end of January/early February.
UBCO PI just said that they haven't began reviewing yet when I talked to them last week, so they may have started to review now.
Just thought it would calm some of us to know that they likely haven't even seen our applications! It's nerve-wrecking to hear about all the US applicants hearing back this early, so just know that our timeline is different.

For MSW, just UCalgary's foundational track, which I have not heard anything from. I also applied to some MEd in Counselling as well.
