I'm sorry guys but the waitlist emails are already out. At this point we should only expect rejections...

Yeah, me neither. I think it's pretty much over by now. We just wait for waitlist/rejection emails. I guess rejections won't be out until March though. ?

Have you heard anything back?

It does matter but I think the most important aspect of your application is research experience. I have a 9.9/10 GPA and 3 great LORs but unfortunately no research experience. ☹️

Yeah, I think that's a reasonable assumption. It would be a waste of everyone's time to conduct interviews if all decisions were made.

Where did you see that? All I see is "You can log into this web site in early March to see our admissions decision" in the application portal.

Massive congrats! Do you mind sharing your area? Still nothing! We don't know whether another wave of acceptances will come, but the number of acceptances reported on the main GradCafe page is much smaller than last year.

Well, I guess it's over folks... I knew I didn't stand a chance of getting in but up until now I was hoping for a miracle. I guess I'll never get accepted at a top program since getting research experience in my country is something virtually impossible. ?

Yeah. They did send all acceptances on January 26 last year but we don't know if they were sent out at the same time. Also, there are just 4 acceptance posts so far on the main GradCafe page...

Yup!!! I am not sure if all of today's acceptances are out by now or if they just release them in smaller batches though...

That's so true but I doubt it will stop me from refreshing my application portal and email 100 times a minute... ? I just hope these GradCafe posts were not some kind of cruel troll (although it's likely).
