  1. They are currently running through another batch of admissions decisions so don't feel discouraged if you haven't heard back.
  2. Just got the call from a 708 number and Sparkle told me I was admitted. They bumped my scholarship from a 10k scholarship I got last year in Round 2 to 30k now in Round 1. Incredibly relieved.
  3. Did they call to tell you that? Or did you see that as a portal update?
  4. Wonder how common it is for them not call first before admissions decisions go out. Getting worried this means waitlisted or denied ?
  5. Any round 1 MPP applicants still waiting? Saw they released decisions last year on the 19th and 20th for round 1. Hoping this means they'll do another batch tomorrow.
  6. @clairella222 I've actually heard and experienced the opposite. I applied round 2 on 1/22 last year and found out I was admitted on a Saturday night 3/6. I was a bit disappointed on the scholarship amount. They awarded me 10k and from speaking with other students and friends the most they really only give out about 10-25k. But I guess this is well known? Other police programs are more generous with scholarship money but Harris is known to not give out as much as other programs. A few months after you're admitted they let you challenge the award where you can report promotions or other scholarships to get them to bump your award amount...but they almost rarely bump your award amount. Admissions wouldn't let me defer so had to reapply round 1 of this year. So thinking we hear back tomorrow or early next week? I'd be interested to see if award money changes depending on when you apply...I will keep you all posted.
  7. Definitely check prior year's thread. They had a deeper discussion on the topic and discussed who was able to get more funding after admission.
  8. They generally takes 6 academic weeks to finalize decisions. Because of the 2 week holiday break and the 1 week quarter delay, I think we will hear back from Admissions either this weekend or next week.
