I received my LMSW in October 2021 and was hired by an agency in November 2021. I want my LSCW and my supervisor is qualified to supervise the clinical hours. I was told that I could start logging my hours as soon as I started, but now I am looking at the forms on the NYSED website stating that I need to submit a supervised plan to review and a qualification for my supervisor along with a ton of additional paperwork. Also, that my clinical hours would not count until after I receive approval of the plan. Has anyone gotten their LCSW recently in New York? I would really love to speak with someone who has done the process and not just read the information from the website which is just confusing.
