Just a PSA for everyone who may have also applied to the OGS! I just got my award confirmation yesterday. If you applied through Carleton Central they will have sent the email to your Carleton email address; if you applied via the paper package, you'll receive it via personal email I believe. I did my undergrad in political science and finished with a 3.98 GPA. Four work terms in the federal government and former political staffer. I also did one semester of directed research with a professor and had three volunteer/leadership positions, but nothing directly related to international affairs. I didn't even do my concentration in international relations and only took intro econ courses, but got into IEP.
Good luck to both of you! I have friends still waiting to hear back as well. Don't be discouraged!!

Update from me! Just received my offer today (anyone else in IEP?) with four scholarships of sorts (no idea what each one is for), a TAship and a research scholarship (not sure if this is for doing research or just a scholarship, since it was just called a scholarship and not a RA). My application moved from Preliminary Review on Jan 27, then moved through to Review in Progress, Recommended for Assessment, back to Review in Progress, then Review by Faculty of Graduate and Postdoc Affairs. Happy to share my stats if anyone is interested but I won't post it for now.
