Ditto. That’s what mine was.
What happens is the schools send their acceptance lists to the Faculty of Grad Studies and they just have to sign off on it. More of a formality, but they say that to cover their a** should something come up.
Seeing that the vast majority (if not all) MPA/MPP/MPwhatever programs have good graduate outcomes in Canada, I would not worry too much about it. I think the digital focus could be applicable, and it won’t be long until industry (private sector especially) picks up on this niche.
Accepted at Western Local Government MPA. Received about half scholarship too.
GPA: 3.92/4.33
EC’s: Strong (Involved in local gov sector in various roles throughout undergrad).
Thanks!
3.9 is cumulative, L20 is ~3.96 (guesstimating, don’t have my transcript to calculate). Straight outta undergrad (well, technically still there).
Also, not sure this is the right place for this, but I’m Accepted at Carleton Master of Political Management (MPM).
3.9/4.33 GPA, strong political experience and ECs.
I am ACCEPTED at UWaterloo MPS
Dr. Norton emailed this aft at 2:32 to notify me.
Stats: 3.9/4.33 GPA, EC’s are self-rated a 4/5 (some gov and political experience, but I haven’t saved the world or any of that jazz).
Since it’s the closest program to home for me, I’m strongly leaning towards UW for the Fall!
