Hi! Has anyone heard anything about UofA’s waitlist? Are they done sending out offers? This is so stressful!
Hey I reached out and was told by the advisor that they sent out most waitlist offers last week and that if we don't hear back by the end of April, it is likely all the spots for the cohort are filled
-
Has anyone been accepted off UofA's waitlist recently?

Hey, I PMed you!

Is anyone thinking of declining their UofA offer? Trying to gage how much their waitlist will move

When you say you got in "earlier", do you mean today or the 28th?

Just curious, did anyone get an offer into the U of A program with a lower Casper test score? I did really poorly on mine and I think that is one of the key factors of me not getting a spot. =/ Feel free to message me if you don't feel comfortable telling the whole group 😃
I got waitlisted with a 4th quartile casper score and I know someone who got an offer with a 2nd quartile score last year, so I don't think there's that much of an emphasis on it, but that's just my opinion!

Does anyone know if all the offers for U of A have been sent out? I was hoping for an offer or waitlist but didn’t hear back at all. Will they send out rejection emails as well?
I know that a few people got rejection emails yesterday, so I would definitely reach out to them!

Does anyone else’s U of A portal still say their application is in the “pre-screening” stage?
Yup

It also could be because they opened the augustanna campus cohort! So maybe there is more planning that they have to do.
I also believe it has to do with the fact that the deadline was Feb 1 this year, whereas historically it's been Jan 15

It might have already been asked, but does anyone know when UofA starts to send out acceptances/rejections?
Around the last week of March, I believe

Does anyone know if after submitting your UofA application you can resubmit supporting documents?
4 hours ago, tayslp said:I was a little confused about this as well but my application is submitted and it still gives you the option to add or remove the required documents.
We can add/remove documents up until the deadline, I believe! Not sure if we'd be able to after Feb 1.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone knows if I can submit a CV for the UofA application? It says a resume on the application process website, but in the application portal, it says CV/Resume. Also, I don't believe I've seen a limit on how long the resume can be as well. I've emailed their admission office, but I'm yet to hear back. So anyone with any information would help, planning to submit in a few days! Thanks
I believe they just want you to name the document a "Resume" but a CV should work. I've heard from some people that it should be 2-3 pages, but I also know people who've been accepted that had longer ones, so not too sure if there's a strict rule on it.

I have been waiting to hear back from UofA about how to send in a transcript. I am only able to send the transcript via email or to the institution directly. I cannot download it as a PDF. Has anyone run into this issue before or know how to submit it according to UofA's guidelines?
Are you accessing your transcript through MyCreds? If so, what I did was share the transcript to my personal email and from there I was able to download it and save as a pdf, which I submitted for the application.

For the UofA Statement of Intent, what font size are we supposed to write it in? Or does it even matter as long as it's under 2 pages?

Hi all!
This will be my first time applying to the SLP program this year! Excited and nervous 😅
When is everyone planning on writing the CASPer? And for those who have already taken it, how did you find it? I'm going to be writing on September 14th!

Did you email them and ask them what to improve on? Considering if I should do this as well haha
