Its decision week and I am trying to make a final decision but am having trouble because I'm waiting on UCSD. I applied to the ECE PhD ML & Data Science PhD as well as the halicioglu data science phd. Both of these programs haven't gotten back to me and when I contacted them 2 weeks ago I was told they may not even make a decision before April 15th. I am worried because I will probably access elsewhere just to have a spot but I can't believe UCSD is still not getting back to us in a timely manner? These deadlines occur every year and I am upheld to these deadlines so why are the universities not? This should be a routine system by now. Just stressed that they aren't giving me a decision status Not sure the likelihood I get admitted but its one of my top choices I'm waiting out for :/
