Last week I emailed both the program director and the department I applied to. I haven't received a response from the program director yet but I heard back from my department (Econ)and they said as of last week they are still waiting on applications to be forwarded to them from the program director but once they are they are planning on making a quick decision. So I would def recommend reaching out to your department directly

I have yet to hear back either. As of now, have you heard back? I am thinking of emailing for updates.
