I am currently an MPH student at UTHealth.
The only available school funding for PhD students is the “Outstanding New Student Scholarship” which reduces the tuition and fee to the in state rate and give an addition $3,000 towards tuition for the first year.
Most students (MPH and PhD) funds their program through GRA/GA/TA.
These assistantships reduce the tuition and fees to in state rate, gives full health insurance and stipend (starting from $20,000 for PhD).
These assistantships do not come with admission, you have to reach out to your advisor or other professors or apply through handshake or respond to openings
