I emailed McGill and this was their reply: At this point we have sent out several offers to PhD applicants. Additional offers may only go out based on whether those who have received an offer accept or decline the offer. 😕

Nothing from McGill, I guess it's for next week!

I'm losing my mind over these results.. I can't think of anything else but this last pending application that could change my life! Am I the only one who obsessively refreshes this website and the application portal?

FYI: I negociated and they offered a fellowship. So happy! I didn't know we could do that. My advice to future applicants: always ask for extra funding if it's low.

Same here. I'm waiting to hear from one last school in early March. I did get extra funding today from UB, which is amazing! I can finally chill. How is every one?

Just checked portal. Status is updated. As expected, I got rejected. Congrats to all admitted!

I'm waiting for one last result from McGill, which will be out somewhere in March. I have no idea if they'll accept me as their selection process is pretty opaque. So I feel you. It is torture to wait this long!

@mintchocol8e Don't let it ruin your mood please! It's not over yet, and your worth is not related to a series of PhD applications. You know that there are only a couple of spots for hundreds, if not thousands of applications. The selection process is dependent of so many factors outside of your control. Plus, you can always reapply next year to other universities. I'm also in my mid thirties and it's alright, it's never too late to chase your dreams. Keep your head up!

They both received phone calls and mention official letters arriving today. Still nothing on my side.
