I also applied to Stanford and Yale... Still nothing. I am not sure if it is soft rej or they are simply taking their time.

I did my Master's in Education! And we got some overlaps (Yale, UChi, NYU, Stanford, Duke, UPenn) of school choices. But I have heard nothing from them...yet
