Hey all! I've applied to Uni of Washington, Johns Hopkins, Indiana University Bloomington, UC Davis, and MIT. Haven't heard back from anyone about interviews yet, though it might be early in the season š¤§

Curious to hear if anyone has heard from:
- UC Berkeley (sociocultural had an interview with them 1/26 but have not heard anything regarding a reject/acceptance-- so waitlist?)
- UOregon (radio silence, but unsure if interviews have happened for sociocultural yet)
- USC (no interview so expecting a reject)
If anyone has any info on timelines that would be great. Just kinda want this cycle to end atp.
For USC, Dr. Lutkehaus informed me that if you haven't been selected for the interview (that took place a week and a half or so) ago, then you haven't been shortlisted for selection š Not sure how long they take to update the portal, but will be a quicker response if you write to her Best of luck!

Oh! So sorry for my mistake. I was asking Ā rec letters for PhD programs, as I might be someone who is āoutsideā the university. I still want to try but have some concerns.
Might be helpful to stay in touch and keep them updated on what you're doing -- this should help maintain the relationship and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to send in a letter for you again. I'm assuming that since they've already done this for you once, they'd probably have the LORs they sent in this year saved, -which they could just tweak for the next cycle!

Hi there, has anyone heard from Brandeis? I saw some rejections/interviews on the result page but still got nothing......
Same! From what I understand, they seem to be assessing application in batches, so fingers crossed

Has anyone heard back from either UPenn or Northwestern's socio-cultural track? Thanks!

I am so tired of the radio silence of UCI. They sent out interview invites about a week ago. Why can't they just send the rejection letters already if they know who they're going to accept (i.e. those who were invited to interview). I'm so sick of thisĀ ?Ā
Same, wrote to them yesterday, and got this standard response: "Graduate admissions decisions are made at the department level. The Graduate Division does not have any information beyond what appears on your application checklist. Once your department makes a decision on your application, you will be notified by email and be able to view the decision(s) on your application status page atĀ apply.grad.uci.edu/status.
For more information on your program's admission timeline, please contact the program directly. You can find their contact information here:Ā https://grad.uci.edu/admissions/degree-programs/." -

Congrats! That's positive for sure. I'd applied to Northwestern as well. Sociocultural track. Haven't heard back from them. So, I'd assume it's also potential bad news duhh..
Hey! I applied to the Northwestern Sociocultural track and haven't heard anything back either. Perhaps the applications for the socio-cultural track are being processed a bit slower *fingers crossed*Ā
