For USC, Dr. Lutkehaus informed me that if you haven't been selected for the interview (that took place a week and a half or so) ago, then you haven't been shortlisted for selection 😕 Not sure how long they take to update the portal, but will be a quicker response if you write to her Best of luck!

Might be helpful to stay in touch and keep them updated on what you're doing -- this should help maintain the relationship and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to send in a letter for you again. I'm assuming that since they've already done this for you once, they'd probably have the LORs they sent in this year saved, -which they could just tweak for the next cycle!

Same, wrote to them yesterday, and got this standard response: "Graduate admissions decisions are made at the department level. The Graduate Division does not have any information beyond what appears on your application checklist. Hey! I applied to the Northwestern Sociocultural track and haven't heard anything back either. Perhaps the applications for the socio-cultural track are being processed a bit slower *fingers crossed*
