How's everyone holding up? I was a bit disappointed getting cut after the first round at Yale and then DePaul put their program "on hold" due to a budget shortfall! What a trip... I am still waiting to hear back after my interview at Iowa. Anyone have news? I have an offer from Central's ATP program in London and an interview with Birkbeck. Maybe I'm UK bound. @Cmrich Congrats on the interviews! I just had my Yale interview this past week. Liz and Lileana were super nice. Not sure if you're interviewing with them, but I'd say expect a positive experience. @Touchstone383 Congrats on being a finalist at CMU! That sounds like a long zoom day. I'll be interested to hear about it. Amen to your sentiments about Yale. @MolineM How were URTAs? I bet you'll hear something this week since it's two weeks out, right? At least, that's what i'm hoping since I'm waiting on Iowa, which does URTAs. @ArthurThriller Turns out I'll be in person in Chicago after all. Maybe we'll cross paths on the day of.

@danflashes427 Congrats! Anywhere else you're waiting to hear back from? I'm just waiting on Iowa in the U.S. now. Their applications don't close until Sunday, so I guess it'll be a second. What are other people hearing - Get in the chat, y'all!

@ArthurThriller Thanks, that's very helpful to know. Perhaps I mistakenly gave them the impression I wasn't willingly to travel. I am very far away, but I would walk to Chicago if I had to. I guess I better clarify I'm willing to travel if that's an option. EDIT: Looks like they scheduled some in-person and some online. I'll try not to assume that means I'm 2nd string, but even if that's true, I'm glad to be in the mix. Good luck on your audition! I'll be interested to hear how it goes.

@ArthurThriller Agreed! It's good to know there are other people out there with clenched jaws. So are you headed to Chicago to interview in person? Mine is online - the interview as well as the scene. I was a bit surprised by that. I did see other slots when I registered so I assumed all the candidates were online as well.

@ArthurThriller Welcome! I hope we'll see some more action on the thread too. Congrats on Yale and DePaul! I'm interviewing at both as well. It does seem like a quick turn around for UCSD. I'm not sure if their deadline has always been in Jan. Perhaps they'll take a bit longer. If anyone hears from them or Iowa I am interested to know. Waiting is a killer.

Hi all, The great wait begins... Anybody else's stomach turning? I applied to Yale, UCSD, University of Iowa, DePaul, and a few UK schools. So far I have an interview at Yale. Looking at past years on the forum, I believe DePaul and maybe UCSD should be notifying folks this upcoming week. Hope everyone is getting good news!
